Description
Increase your knowledge and improve the quality of concrete construction, with an emphasis on fundamentals of quality concrete.
This 2-1/2 day course highlights principles of quality concrete, fundamentals of concrete materials, air entrainment, admixtures, ready mix operations, mix design fundamentals, reinforcement, hot and cold weather concrete, sampling, field testing, troubleshooting, low compressive strengths, finishing, curing, and jointing. There is an open book exam on the final day to test your knowledge.
January 6th and 7th - 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
January 8th - 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Twenty PDH's for engineers, or 8 contractor hours available.
Coffee and breakfast is provided each morning, Lunches and beverages provided on Tuesday and Wednesday. Parking is free.
