About CPG

The Concrete Promotional Group, Inc. (CPG) is a concrete trade association serving the Greater Kansas City Metro Area. We promote quality concrete construction, advocate for best management practices, and serve as a technical resource for construction professionals.

We are excited to help educate and support the next generation of concrete and construction professionals!

Scholarship Overview

CPG offers multiple scholarships to students pursuing education in concrete-related fields. Awards range from $500 to $2,500, based on:
- Financial need
- Academic achievement
- Curriculum and field of study
- Character and leadership
- Growth potential and career interest

Scholarship amounts and total awarded are based on number and quality of applicants.

Evaluation Criteria

Applicants will be evaluated on:
☑️ Involvement in concrete-related activities (classes, extracurriculars, etc.)
☑️ Participation in student organizations, internships, job shadowing
☑️ Work experience (concrete and non-concrete)
☑️ Financial need
☑️ 100-word essay: “Why Concrete is Important (to Me)”

Preference will be given to schools and programs located within 100 miles of the Kansas City Metro Area.
